# TresPies AI > TresPies LLC (Madison, Wisconsin) installs open-source AI on an organization's own computers, configures it for recurring office work with the TresPies Harness, and supports it on a quarterly retainer. Built for nonprofits and small offices that handle records they can't send to third-party servers. Spanish edition: https://ai.trespies.dev/es/ ## What it is - Engine: OpenCode (https://opencode.ai), an open-source AI agent, MIT license. Not affiliated with TresPies. - Model: an open-weight model running on the client's own machine through a local runtime such as Ollama. - TresPies Harness: TresPies's configuration layer on top of OpenCode. Named assistants (drafter, records clerk, translation drafter, reviewer), routines (written playbooks for recurring tasks), guardrails (reads allowed, every file edit needs human approval, shell denied), private mode (local model only; web fetch, web search and outside folders denied), house rules (style, glossary, preferred Spanish terms, never-do list), and a session log kept on the client's machine. - Ownership: the client owns its machines, documents, outputs, and routines written for it. OpenCode stays the client's to use. The Harness is licensed during the retainer; on exit the client keeps the installed version without updates. ## Integration process 1. Listen (week 1): intake with the teams; list of recurring tasks; data map of routine vs. sensitive records; a point person. 2. Check (weeks 1-2): hardware check; a workstation spec if needed, bought by the client at cost; model chosen to fit the machine. 3. Install (weeks 2-3): OpenCode, local runtime, Harness; private mode, guardrails and session log on before first use. Commercial AI services are off unless the client enables them for non-sensitive work. 4. Build (weeks 3-4): three starter routines tested on real non-sensitive examples, each with a two-page quick guide. 5. Train (week 4): two hands-on sessions in English or Spanish. 6. Run (each quarter): monthly one-hour working session; email request line, first reply within two business days; up to two new routines per quarter; quarterly software and model update with a one-page quarter record. ## Services - Core: one-time setup plus a quarterly retainer (steps 1-6). - Add-ons, each scoped in a one-paragraph note before work starts: AI use policy (EN/ES); ask-your-files local search with cited sources; grant and report kit; bilingual review workflow; records cleanup sprint (fixed two weeks); staff workshop (90 minutes, EN/ES); workstation sourcing (hardware at cost); more teams or sites; priority support. - Pricing is set in a first conversation, by size and scope, with nonprofit rates. ## Limits - Good for: first drafts a person finishes; answers from the organization's own files with the source named; cleaning and checking lists; Spanish/English drafts for a fluent reviewer; meeting summaries and action lists. - Not for: legal, medical, or financial advice; decisions about the people served; sending anything on the organization's behalf; unreviewed translations; work that needs the largest commercial models. ## Contact - cruz@trespiesdesign.com - https://trespies.dev
